Paris Saint-Germain have claimed the UEFA Champions League title for the second consecutive season after defeating Arsenal in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
The match was highly competitive, with both teams creating only a few clear chances on target. Neither side could find a winning goal in normal time or extra time, forcing the final to be decided on penalties.
Arsenal took an early lead in the fifth minute through Kai Havertz, putting the Premier League side in control of the match.
However, PSG responded in the 68th minute when Ousmane Dembélé converted a penalty to level the score.
The French champions dominated possession for much of the game but struggled to break down Arsenal’s well-organised defence. The Gunners remained disciplined at the back and focused on protecting the result rather than committing numbers forward in attack.
With neither side able to find a decisive goal, the match proceeded to a penalty shoot-out, where PSG held their nerve to secure another Champions League crown.
