Boohle’s manager has come under heavy criticism from fans and music supporters following leaked WhatsApp chats with a promoter.
Her manager was reportedly in conversation with well-known DJ and promoter C-Live regarding a possible booking for the Amapiano star, but the responses were described as rude and unprofessional.
According to screenshots of the chats shared online, Boohle’s manager was approached about securing a performance booking for September. However, he allegedly delayed responding before later quoting a fee that was far higher than the amount previously discussed.
Reports indicate that the booking fee was initially set at R30,000, but Boohle’s manager later increased the amount to R80,000 while responding in a harsh manner that reportedly discouraged the promoter from continuing negotiations.
Taking to social media, C-Live explained his experience while trying to secure a booking for the award-winning vocalist. He accused Boohle’s management team of acting unprofessionally during the discussions.
Following the booking dispute, C-Live reportedly pulled out of the deal before later sharing screenshots and details of the conversation between both parties.
After the drama surfaced online, many of Boohle’s fans and supporters urged the singer to address the issue seriously and release a constructive response. Others, however, criticized the promoter, accusing him of attempting to damage the musician’s reputation and future bookings.
