Manchester City F.C. will honour Pep Guardiola with a statue in recognition of his contribution to the club’s success and trophy achievements.

After nearly 10 years at the club, the 55-year-old coach is expected to leave at the end of the season as the most successful manager in Manchester City’s history after winning 20 major trophies including one UEFA Champions League.

The Spanish tactician has also influenced several players and coaches who worked alongside him, including Vincent Kompany, Mikel Arteta, Enzo Maresca, and Luis Enrique, all of whom have gone on to achieve success in their own managerial careers.

Arteta has already guided Arsenal F.C. to the Premier League title and is expected to face Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in the 2026 UEFA Champions League Final.

Luis Enrique has won major European trophies, including two UEFA Champions League titles with FC Barcelona and PSG. He could add another European crown if PSG defeat Arsenal in the upcoming final.

Kompany has already won major honours in Germany and restored FC Bayern Munich to dominance, with the club reportedly losing only three matches this season so far.

Meanwhile, Maresca guided Chelsea F.C. to two major trophies, including the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League title.

Maresca has also reportedly reached verbal agreement with the City Football Group as a potential candidate to replace Guardiola next season.
