Kid Cudi has reportedly removed M.I.A. from the remainder of his tour after she upset the crowd with an alleged rant about illegal immigrants.
M.I.A. found herself under fire after fans booed her during a performance, as she reportedly referred to members of the audience as “illegal immigrants” while on Kid Cudi’s tour.
Following the incident, Kid Cudi announced that he had decided to remove her from the tour, saying her remarks were unacceptable and that he had previously warned her.
“This, to me, is very disappointing, and I won’t have someone on my tour making offensive remarks that upset my fanbase,” he wrote.
Concertgoers claim M.I.A. made controversial comments about immigrants and allegedly implied that people in the crowd were “illegal.”
After being booed, she reportedly attempted to walk back her comments by saying she and her team were also “illegal,” but Cudi’s fans did not accept the explanation.
