Black Coffee has distanced himself from social media post about xenophobia following a fake quote from anonymous user on social media.
The popular DJ and businessman took a short time to dismiss it, after a one user claiming that he said “Being a SA abroad is now embarrassing as everyone thinks all of us are xenophobic nation.”
The image featured a photograph of the DJ alongside the South African flag. However, social media users quickly pointed out several red flags, including the fact that his name was incorrectly spelt as “Black Koffe” instead of Black Coffee.
The 50-year-old DJ is very smart when it comes to fame, he does not want to get involve to issues that will divide his fan base.
The DJ call it fake news, as many followers applaud him for being focus and distancing himself to things that will tarnish his image abroad.
Following a wake of March and march movement, many artists remain calm and not get themselves engage to demonstrations.
