Agather Atuhaire found alive between Tanzania and Uganda border

Human rights activist Agather Atuhaire is found alive between Tanzania and Uganda border following the detaining news that caught the attention of majority.

Ugandan activist is found safely near border just like Kenya activist Boniface Mwangi, who was left at Kwale county by Tanzanian authority, a past day.

Atuhaire and Mwangi detained shortly by Tanzanian authority after their arrival in Tanzania, as they arrive to follow the proceeding of Tundu Lissu’s trial.

Her institution Agora affirm the news, expressing their excitement of her release from Tanzania, adding that the whole story will be aired soon.

The activists have now safely at their respectively countries, prevented by Tanzanian authority from hearing Tundu Lissu for allegedly that they were intent to break the country’s laws, by organizing the protests.

Tundu Lissu’s case doesn’t only caught the attention of fellow neighbour countries, but also European parliament, as they discussed the current human rights violation in Tanzania, but also the proceeding of his case.
