University rejects Mampintsha’s request to host event

The University of Western Cape has turned down an application for Mampintsha to host an event following his assault charge against Babes Wodumo.

Many Celebrities are distancing from Mampintsha following his behavior of beating longtime Gf Babes Wodumo.

The university released a statement announcing that they have refused an application from West Ink to use their stadium for an event.

Mampintsha arrested over alleged assault Babes Wodumo

This was after Mampintsha was recorded by his girlfriend Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane assaulting her.

Mampintsha was charged with assault and released on R2000 bail earlier this week.

The university said that the event was set for 4 May.

“After much consultation and deliberation with key stakeholders, the management of the University of the western Cape has taken the decision to decline the application for an event that was earmarked for 4 May,” the statement reads.

The university also said that it cannot allow an event to take place on its campus “involving an individual who has been implicated in an incident of gender-based violence.”
