Actress Candice Modiselle shares her thoughts on rape culture that prevails in a country like South Africa.
The situation makes her sick, she trying to figured out without answer on why these are still issue in Mzansi despite development and level of literacy.
TV presenter is our recent actress to slam gender-based violence which is still persist in SA despite efforts taken by both government and women on spreading awareness.
Taking to the Twitter, Candice wrote; “Rape culture is woven into the DNA of so many men and it actually makes me sick. I’m sick,”
The actress did the same thing as majority of high profile women do. Back in January, she lamented violence against women.
Candice believes men’s stereotype are often crime committed than women and children following crime stats happening in the country and worldwide.
“It’s insane how men find generalisations more offensive than the actual crimes committed against women and children,”
