Unai Emery responds over Arsenal approach Navas claims
Unai Emery denies claims that Arsenal has made a move for a Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas after the player posted a cryptic message on Instagram, where he thanked the fans and appeared to be saying goodbye.
Rumours started after reports from Spain claimed Arsenal and Roma were monitoring his situation, with the Gunners even offering £14million for his services.
Anzimag understand that Keylor Navas choose option of moving out after former Chelsea stopper Thibaut Courtois replace his role at Santiago Bernabeu.
“Not true,” said Emery, when asked if Arsenal had made a move for Navas.
“We never speak about one goalkeeper because I think – and it’s true – we are very happy with the three goalkeepers we have now. We’ve never spoken about Keylor Navas.”
