Andile Jali signs for Moroka Swallows FC as team’s midfielder for the upcoming 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
Jali 33-years-old who was a former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder parted ways with Sundowns during the January transfer window through a mutual agreement.
Orlando Pirates, AmaZulu, Royal AM, and Cape Town City were all reportedly interested in securing his services.
However, it became evident that Swallows would make their move once Steve Komphela was appointed as head coach.
The bond between Jali and Komphela grew during their previous collaboration at Sundowns, and this played a significant role in the transfer.
“I’m very happy to announce that Andile Jali will be joining Moroka Swallows,” Swallows chairman David Mogashoa stated.
“I’m very happy to announce that Andile Jali is the first player Moroka Swallows has signed.”
