Arsenal blows a two-goal lead against Liverpool.

Leaders of the Premier League Arsenal surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday evening.
After being dropped against Chelsea, Mohammed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Andrew Robertson returned to the Liverpool starting lineup, while Cody Gakpo started ahead of Darwin Nunez in attack.

The Gunners got off to a good start when Gabriel Martinelli scored after just eight minutes of the game. Liverpool had a chance to equalize on 19 minutes when Andrew Robertson latched onto a superb feed from Fabinho before hitting just wide of Aaron Ramsdale’s post.

Mohamed Salah’s goal just before the break raised some concerns for Mikel Arteta’s side, and while they were fortunate that the Egypt international missed an early second-half penalty, Roberto Firmino’s late equalizer reduced Arsenal’s lead over City to six points despite having played one more game.

The strain appeared to be catching up with Arsenal as Salah, twice, and Ibrahima Konate all had chances to win late on, but they managed to escape with a point.

But still they need to get their head straight because they might go out with No Trophy in their Best Season for Arsenal
