Croatia and Argentina have advanced to the semi-finals of the World Cup after winning the first two quarter-final matches played on Saturday.

Argentina beat the Netherlands 4-3 on penalties after 90 minutes of the game ended with a 2-2 score and another 30 overtimes to the end without any team hitting the other’s nets.
