Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has responded to Paul Pogba’s agent after claiming that he is unhappy at Manchester United.
Man U boss said Raiola try to create drama after realise that they started to work as team, which imply that he has personal agenda.
“The squad is fine – they’re a team and they stick together,” Solskjaer said.
“As soon as Paul’s agent realises this is a team sport and we work together, the better. That’s probably maybe the last thing I say on that. I don’t want to spend energy on that.”
Talking about Pogba unhappy at Old Trafford, Ole said that he is doing well on improvement in the squad, he believe it is not his responsibility to address somebody’s emotions.
“You’ll have to ask Paul. I’m not going to speak for him. Paul’s focused on doing his best for the team. He’s working hard in training.
“Now is not the time to discuss ins and outs at the club.”
Pogba’s agent claims that he is unhappy, he suggests Manchester United to let him move to the next window transfer or risking him of leaving for free.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Mino Raiola said: “There’s no point beating about the bush. It’s better to speak out clearly, look forward and avoid wasting time to find culprits.
“Paul is unhappy at Man Utd, he can’t manage to express himself like he wants to and like people expect him to.
“He needs to change team, he needs a change of scenery. He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution for all parties is a transfer in the next (summer) window.
“Otherwise the Old Trafford club, which I have a great relationship with, knows well that they would risk losing him on a free transfer, given that at the moment it’s not the player’s intention to extend the contract.
“If anybody can’t understand this, then they know little or nothing about football. Anyway, they’re free to direct all the blame to myself if Paul were to leave next summer.”
Pogba contract will expire in 2022 as Manchester United have opportunity of either selling him next year or losing him for free transfer if he reject to extend the contract.
