President Ruto has excluded LGBTQ members in his government – Ahmednasir claims
Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has claimed that President William Ruto has excluded LBGTQ members from his government.
On his Twitter page on Friday, December 23, 2022, Ahmednasir argued that the previous government under former President Uhuru Kenyatta had 5 LBGTQ members and more than 12 senior staff in the White House.
“H.E @WilliamsRuto must be condemned for excluding LBGTQ members from his government. Compare this with Uhuru’s commendable policy.
Uhuru’s cabinet had 5 LBGTQ members and over 12 senior staff in the White House/Office of the President. President Ruto has ZER0…YES ZERO! @makaumutua,” Ahmednasir Abdullahi said
Lawyer Abdullahi has been a close ally of President Ruto but he always calls him when he feels he is wrong.

In September 2022, President Ruto said that he respects everyone and what they believe in, adding that this should be applied to those with different beliefs.
“We have Kenya’s laws, Constitution, traditions and customs. We will continue to respect the traditions of other people as they respect our traditions and customs,” he said in an interview with CNN.
