Mzansi reacts over Rasta’s Soweto Uprising painting
Rasta receives another backlash following his Soweto Uprising painting went viral again just a day after receive the same bitter response over the Carters painting.
A picture of Rasta standing with a drawing he did to commemorate the 1976 Soweto Uprising has been shared widely on Twitter and other social media platforms.
The drawing, which is an attempted replica of Sam Nzima’s iconic photograph, shows a skinnier looking man holding Hector Pieterson.
Fans didn’t hold back in their criticism of the drawing, with even Fikile Mbalula and comedian Skhumba joining in the banter.
