Liverpool to offer Virgil van Dijk improved contract

Virgil van Dijk is expecting to renew his contract with Liverpool, with reds are expecting to offer him double of his current salary.

According to 90min, van Dijk will double his £125k-per-week wages to £250k-per-week as part of the agreement.

The Dutchman has helped Liverpool to win UEFA Champions League last summer, he also wins PFA award and he became the first defender to do so in 14 years.

Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have all recently penned fresh deals in the last 18 months.
