East Africans and Tanzanians visiting Serengeti national park for safari are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for adults above the age of 16 years and children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 2000 Tanzania shillings for safaris to Serengeti national park.

Visitors going to Tarangire national park and Lake Manyara national park, Arusha national park for safaris are charged the same park entrance fees for tours around Tanzania. Tarangire national park is known for having many elephants, Lake Manyara national park is home to tree climbing lions and Arusha national park is home to attractions like Mount Meru which is the second highest mountain in Tanzania.

Park entrance fee for nonresidents visiting Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park is 50 USD in the peak season 45 USD in the low season for tourists above the age of 16 years. Children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 15 USD.

Residents and expatriates in Tanzania visiting Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park are charged park entrance fee of 25 USD in the peak season and 22.5 USD in the low season. Children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park fees of 7.5 USD.

East Africans and Tanzanians visiting Lake Manyara national park, Tarangire national park and Arusha national park are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for those above 16 years and 2000 Tanzania shillings for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

Park entrance fee for the Ngorongoro conservation area is 70.80 USD for nonresidents above 16 years and 23.6 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years including the 18% tax. Expatriates or residents living in Tanzania are charged entrance fee of 35.4 USD for those aged between 5 and 15 years are charged 11.8 USD.

East Africans or Tanzanians visiting Ngorongoro conservation area are charged entrance fees of 11800 Tanzania shillings for those aged above 16 years while children between the age of 5 and 15 years are charged entrance fee of 2360 Tanzania shillings.

Another charge which is incurred during tours to the Ngorongoro conservation area is crater fees of 295 USD which are charged per vehicle.

Kilimanjaro national park is also found in the northern part of Tanzania and park fee charged for 70 USD for nonresidents aged above 16 years, 20 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years and 35 USD for residents or expatriates aged above 16 years visiting Kilimanjaro national park. Children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park fee of 10 USD.

East Africans or Tanzanians visiting Kilimanjaro national park are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for adults aged above 16 years while children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park fee of 2000 Tanzania shillings.

Southern safari parks of Tanzania

Destinations in the southern part of Tanzania include Ruaha national park, Nyerere national park (Selous game reserve).

The southern part of Tanzania is a remote part of the country and the park entrance fees for these safari destinations are as follows;

Park fees for Ruaha national park during tours is 30 USD for nonresidents above the age of 16 years and 10 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years. Residents visiting the national park are charged park fee of 15 USD for residents or expatriates aged above 16 years and 5 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

Tanzanians and East Africans visiting Ruaha national park are charged park fees of 5000 Tanzania shillings for visitors above 16 years while children aged between 5 and 15 years will be charged park fees of 2000 Tanzania shillings excluding the 18% tax.

The park entrance fees for Mikumi national park, Katavi national park and Ruaha national park are similar. These entrance fees are also similar for Rubondo island national park, Saadani national park, Kitulo national park, Mkomazi national park, Udzungwa mountains national park, Burigi chato national park.

Nyerere national park is another destination which can be visited in the southern part of Tanzania. This destination is also known as Selous game reserve and is among the largest wildlife viewing destinations of Tanzania.

Park entrance fees for Nyerere national park is 50 USD for nonresident above 16 years and 30 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

Western safari circuits of Tanzania

Safaris in the western part of Tanzania include Gombe national park and Mahale national park.

Park entrance fees for Mahale national park is 80 USD for nonresidents above 16 years and 20 USD for nonresident children aged between 5 and 15 years. Expatriates or residents visiting Mahale national park are charged park entrance fee of 40 USD for visitors above 16 years and 10 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

East Africans and Tanzanians visiting Mahale national park are charged park entrance fee of 5000 Tanzania shillings for visitors above 16 years and 2000 Tanzania shillings for those below the age of 5 and 15 years.

For Gombe national park, park entrance fee of 100 USD is charged for nonresident adults above the age of 16 years and 20 USD for children aged between 5 and 15 years. Expatriates or residents are charged entrance fee of 50 USD for those above 16 years and children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park fee of 10 USD for safaris to the national park.

Tanzanians and East African citizens visiting Gombe national park are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for visitors aged above 16 years and 2000 Tanzania shillings for children aged between 5 and 15 years.

Children aged below 5 years are not charged park entrance fees during safaris around the safari destinations of Tanzania.
