“He’s a little bit fragile”: Sarri wants Morata to improve more

Morata has improved as he wins four goals in four matches as last game he doubled the net but his boss believe he’s need to improve more to become atop striker.

The £60m Spain forward scored twice against Crystal Palace to lift Chelsea above Liverpool into second place.

Sarri admitted he still needed to improve before he can be compared to the likes of Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.

“I am really very happy for Alvaro – he improved in the last month in confidence and personality,” said the Italian.

“He improved also from a tactical and technical point of view. Now he’s able to play more with the team, I think.

“But I think, also, that Alvaro has a very great physical and technical potential, so I think he can improve more.”

“He’s a little bit fragile. From the mental point of view. But he’s very young. I think he can improve, improve very fast. Potentially he can be a top striker.”

Chelsea is unbeaten in EPL under Sarri and closet challenger of Manchester City, but their coach does not believe if they can maintain the pace on upcoming matches,

“I don’t know if we can keep pace with them,” said the former Napoli boss. “I think it’s very difficult to cover 30 points in six months, but we are trying.”
