Sanelisiwe Twisha, known as Moonchild Sanelly, has released the music video for her latest single – Cute. The song features UK-based rapper Trillary Banks.
Earlier this month, Moonchild highlighted on the release of her new song cute that she featured rapper Trillary Banks from UK.
According to News24, Moonchild spoke about the song she released earlier this month, “This song is about bad boss bitches with big dick energy who look fly while they’re running their shit. We can be cute, so our power might look unthreatening, but don’t be fooled, we’re powerful, and we’re here to fuck shit up.”
Trillary says the experience of recording the song was both cool and fun.
“I love the Two Inch Punch production. Meeting Moon in person was also great – we were able to go to a gig, vibe at the studio, do some shopping and discuss visual ideas. What a crazy but cute 24 hours.”
The release of Cute and its music video comes weeks before the release Moochild’s 19-track double album – Phases.
The album’s first side is a journey through a toxic relationship, while the second leads into a clubbier amapiano space, reflecting newfound freedom.
It also features artists such as Blxckie and Sir Trill.

She says the tracks on the album serve to empower different types of girls and promote respect for women.
“I think that with this album, I’ve managed to piece all the different parts of me together because I’m known for different things in different parts of the world. I think you get to know me better with Phases – all the different sides of me,” Moonchild says.
Phases is set for release on 10 June via Transgressive Records and Gallo Record Company.
