China's richest man Jack Ma to donate face masks and tests kits to Africa
China’s richest man, Jack Ma, promised to donate 100,000 face masks, 20,000 test kits and 1,000 medical use protective suits to each of Africa’s 54 nations to prevent coronavirus from spreading the continent.
Mr Ma, worth £32.3 billion, has also urged all countries to avoid being ‘irresponsible’ and ‘take actions now’ as pandemic disease put the world into nightmare.
Africa become the last continent to be hit by deadly coronavirus, Jack Ma believes this is best time to help the continent before it is too late.
South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Misri and other African countries hit by COVID-19 are taking enough precaution before it takes the whole continue as Europe deaths toll increases.
All supplies, including 1.1 million testing kits, six million masks and 60,000 protective suits, would be flown to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, has agreed to help Mr Ma, 55, distribute the relief to other nations, the billionaire added.
