Last month, Zodwa Wabantu revealed on Drum magazine that she and Vusi Buthelezi were no longer lovers after few months in relationship.
At the time of their break-up, Zodwa Wabantu spoke about being avoided by him, rejecting her calls…… “He did not tell me that it is over, but he is avoiding me that is why I even posted on social media that it is over between us. He is not talking to me, he does not take my calls… I want my man back.”
According to Sunday Sun, Vusi was not ok with some of the things she was posting on her social media.
“I dumped her because she posted something I didn’t like on her social media accounts. What she posted reflected badly on me and I told her that. I don’t want to get into detail about the break-up, except that many things happened after that incident, things that were intolerable for a guy like me.
“ I’d never expected them to happen but they did. Those things drove me over the edge and the best option was to dump her. I told her I want out of the relationship and she understood.
Zodwa who had said she wanted Vusi back has changed her mind: “He was beginning to interfere with my work and I didn’t like that. He’d worry about his image and what his friends, colleagues and associates would think.
It got to a point where I felt I was being controlled and I didn’t like that. I told him posting on social media is part of my job.”
