Rapper Tory Lanez is facing felony assault charge just few days later after releasing album denying shooting Meghan Three Stallion.
Tory was arrested in connection of shooting Megan but days later he was released in bail, if convicted, he could face 22 years behind the bars.
According to prosecutors, “If convicted as charged, the (Tory Lanez) faces a possible maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison.
According to TMZ, L.A. County D.A.’s Office hit him with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The D.A. also alleges Tory inflicted great bodily injury.
According to the DA, the rap star allegedly got into a verbal altercation with the 24-year-old victim, Megan Thee Stallion, while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills. They claim that when “the victim exited the vehicle and Peterson is accused of shooting several times at her feet and wounding her.”
The case looking complicated as some sources reveal that the incident was not like what circulating in media as LAPD is in investigation on that case.
Other sources claimed that he was one who pulled the trigger, injuring Megan Three Stallion.
