Speedy is ready to give his fans what they miss from Bongo Maffin family of 2000s after he moved to the United States.
In 2000s Bongo Mavin – group which formed by him along with Stoan Seate, Thandiswa Mazwai, and Jahseed, captured Mzansi attention.
But few years later, Speedy decided to leave the group stay as solo artist, he was quite spending his time in music and acting, but now he is back with new energy.
Speaking with Daly Sun, Speedy is keen to bring back Bongo Maffin , he revealed that he is current working with some projects.
Speedy said: “I have my own album which I worked on with Ishmael, Nhlanhla Nciza and others. It’s a gift to fans,”
He added, “I’m working on getting Bongo Maffin together again and we recently did a reunion concert,”
Speaking about motive of his comeback, the star said he did not return home because he’s broke…. Nah… he returns because he has gift for his fans.
“People think I’m back because I’m broke. I’m not broke,” he explained.
Speaking about struggles and what he learnt from industry, Speedy believes he can make changes because we learnt from mistakes.
“Fame is a monster. People perceive you differently. I don’t want to live like that. I’ve messed up in the past. I’m working at fixing that.”
