Lerato Kganyago has slammed young generation who use social media to attack elders, she educate them to behave.
The Radio personality is not impressed on how young generation use social media to disrespect elder, creating false narratives against them.
Lerato wrote; “Y’all have normalised speaking to elders, Okare le hlaphetswe (as if y’all are drunk) on Twitter?! Some of these elders are the same age as your parents and grandparents man. I will never get used to that. It saddens me.”
In response to her tweet, one user responded to her views, telling her the respect went both ways… saying most elders on Twitter were unworthy of the respect.
Lerato slams user’s perceptions on elders, reflected on her career in aviation, saying she learn how to live with elders and respect others.

She wrote; “I was in aviation for 4 years, most of the people I worked with were much older, some my parents’ age. I was undermined, disrespected and bullied. I mastered the art of putting my point across, firmly so, without lowering my standards to them. Till today. Use it don’t use it.”
In a series of tweets, the Radio personality continued educating young generations on how to behave with some examples relating to culture, but her thoughts didn’t convince them, as one user said Twitter elders are not behaving the way culture want them to be.
