Kodak Black thanks Trump after commuting his prison sentence

Rapper Kodak Black just thanked Donald Trump for shorten his prison sentence, he is now a free man after serving a half of it.

The 23-year-old rapper has thanked Trump on Twitter, he did it just soon after the shortlist pardoned by Trump announced early before he left the white house.

“I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence,” he wrote.

He added, ” I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing.”

As we reported, Kodak Black was among of 70 inmates receive pardon from former president Trump before his ending term.

According to Fox News, Kodak and rapper Lil Wayne were included in the list due to their contribution to society in education, charitable groups and people in need.

Meanwhile, rapper Lil Wayne was among 3 pardons received a clemency, making it 73 of all total in the list.

Kodak Black was arrested back in 2019, charged for possession of weapons and drugs on the border between U.SA and Canada.

Kodak was sentenced to 46 months in prison for making a false statement on a Federal document, served nearly half his sentence.
