Khumalo first set tongues wagging about her third pregnancy late last year when she shared photos of herself with a growing baby bump. However, Khumalo remained tight-lipped throughout the pregnancy.
Following weeks of speculation, award-winning singer and reality TV star Kelly Khumalo has confirmed the arrival of her third child.
She confirmed the arrival of her bundle of joy in a series of photos shared on social media. In the photos, Khumalo is holding a car seat and the newborn is seen wearing a white outfit.
On 19 April, Zimoja reported that the reality TV star welcomed her “bouncing baby girl” that week.
According to the publication, Khumalo shares the baby girl with former Kaizer Chief midfielder Mthokozisi Yende.
Speaking to News24 days later, the Bazokhuluma hitmaker was coy about the new addition to her family, saying: “Which is that addition? What addition are you talking about?”
“In my 19 years of being in the industry, I’ve learned to concentrate on things that are important to me, especially when it comes to the public eye and publicity,” she said. “My music is my number one, and the rest is my personal stuff that is private. Once I entertain that, it is all about that, and it’s no longer about my music which is the focus.”
