British actor Idris Elba has confirmed that he has coronavirus after sharing a video on Twitter, he says he is fine.
The 47-year-old actor wrote, “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19.
“I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.
“Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”
Idris Elba said he did not experience any symptoms, but he decided to test it after being exposed to the person who tested positive last week, his wife Sabrina had not been tested for deadly virus.
He added, “Now is the time to start thinking about social distancing and washing your hands – beyond that there are people out there who are not showing symptoms but can easily spread it.”
