Singer Simphiwe Dana has opened up about getting married to fellow artist Pumeza Matshikiza.
The songstress took to the Twitter to express on how it takes so long for her to accept her current status, as queer.
In her revelation message, she opens further details about getting married with opera singer Pumeza.
Simphiwe wrote: “I am queer. If you love me and my music, rethink your hate towards people like me. This has to end. We are human beings like you,”
“It took me a long time to accept that I’m queer. And please, take it from me. I have never lied to you. I’m now getting married to the most amazing person. I need you to be happy for me,” she posted.
Fans send support messages to her after making it official, “We are! We are! We arrreee!!, 😁❤️❤️ we’re so happy for you!! I’m so glad you chose your happiness above everything else. Siyakuvuyela sisi,” tweeted by one fan.
Simphiwe Dana is the latest celeb to reveal her queer status, she joins actress Letoya Makhene who fell into love in the end of businesswoman Lebohang Keswa.
