Samkelo Ndlovu has decided to change her acting career into music after years in film industry.
According to Daily Sun, the former Rhythm City actress is expecting to drop her debut single in Christmas, her stage name is Samu.
Speaking with the outlet, Samu speaks about the reasons she sacrifice her career.
She said, “I learnt in my 13 years of being in the television industry that acting will take all of your time.”
Samkelo said acting make her impossible to do other careers which is want to risk it into music.

“I found it impossible to split my time, so I felt I needed to make the sacrifice in order to take a real plunge.”
Samu said singing is in her blood for long time but acting practices took too long which overdue her to get into music.
Speaking about upcoming singles, she said it will more experimental to reach women with different rhythm.
“It is celebration of women and their sexuality. It’s exploration of the liberation of women’s sexual identity and prowess. It is experimental because it has six different genres, namely jazz, R&B, ballads, amapiano, trap soul and gqom.
Samkelo said she will remain on screen despite efforts she might put on music on her new journey.
Lastly, she announces herself as official musician as she expects the same energy of support from her fans to new journey.
“I’m excited about this new journey and so are my fans who have supported me all these years. This is what I am now, a musician, I am sum for now, because Samkelo Ndlovu is an actress.”
