DJ Maphorisa explains the reason to stop making qgom hits following tweeps ask him to produce it because Durban love it more than other genre.
No doubt, Maphorisa is enjoying best of his career, he already produced some hottest hits across the continent, last year he focused producing Amapiano hits.
One fan reached out to DJ, wrote “Listen amapiano is great and everything but I mean most of us Durbanites are still gqom people. So, Porry must just give us a gqom project soon, angeke we need it.”
Maphorisa responds, “Da real reason I stopped doing gqom is because Durban producers/DJs said I’m not from Durban hence I’m on amapiano cause its national.”
