DaBaby is in legal troubles after a rental homeowner claims he was ‘sucker-punched’ by the rapper while trying to shut down an unauthorized music video on his property.
According to The Blast, onathan “DaBaby” Kirk was sued by a person who claims they rented the rapper a vacation home in the Runyon Canyon area of the Hollywood Hills, on a condition that only 12 people could be on the property at one time.
The owner, Gary Pagar, claims he was assaulted by the rapper while trying to shut down a music video shot, resulting to the loss of his tooth.
According to allegations, DaBaby brought around 40 people to shoot the music video, which is against their agreement.
In suit, it allegedly that the rapper also destroyed some other stuffs including a security camera system in order to conceal the fact that they had brought more than 12 people to the house.
Pagar claims when he first arrived at the house, DaBaby was sitting in a car with YouTuber Jake Paul. Apparently, the social media influencer is somehow involved in the song. Also, the owner claims the lease agreement specifically says the property can’t be used for any commercial purposes.
The homeowner, who is 64, claims in addition to being assaulted, the group taunted him by tossing his phone back and forth.
