Buhle Samuels has slammed SA government method of paying grants to those citizens affected financially from COVID-19 pandemic.
The media star and actress commented on twitter slamming the government on careless treating those people in need for paying grants in lineup.
She tweeted, “It hurts me to see people lined up at the post office for their grants. I wish there was a better solution to the problem. Our people just have suffering upon suffering.”
Buhle Samuels is believing that the way government is using could put those people at high risk because it goes against social distance rule.
“It hurts me to see people lined up at the post office for their grants. I wish there was a better solution to the problem,” she said.
She added that the struggles of many South Africans just keep getting worse, with little remedy from those in power.
“Our people just have suffering upon suffering.”
She also suggesting a solution for protecting them by paying the grants into a recipient’s bank account, and those who receive their payments at the post office on different days. Some social media users agreed with her but others suggest that it will be difficult for government to change distribution way because it could take a long.
