Billie Eilish is asking fans to “be nice” to her ex-boyfriend following backslash surrounding her past relationship with rapper Brandon Quention Adams.
Billie Eilish came into defense for her ex-boyfriend, stage name is 7:AMP, after her new documentary shows their troubled romance.
‘Remember to be nice to people no matter what! I love you guys thank you for protecting me but be nice!!’ the 19-year-old told her Instagram followers.
Billie’s PSA arrived after her ex defended himself on his own Instagram Story on how he treated the star and their 5-year-gap.
‘There’s always 2 sides to a situation,’ he wrote on his Instagram Story of his distant and, at times, dismissive behavior.
‘People fail to realize I’ve been dealing with my brother’s death. Especially around that time when it was fresh.’
‘Sometimes people disagree and don’t want the same things as one another. It’s on you to understand there’s several points of view to a situation.
‘Anyone who knows me knows where my heart is. I stay with a smile on my face even when I’m hurting. We push through the pain. [No love is ever lost.] But I refuse to be bashed.’
Last week, the star’s fans got an unvarnished look into her personal life and the creative process behind her hit debut studio album in the new Apple TV+ documentary, which dropped on Friday.
The teen, who has largely kept her dating life private, opens up about her relationship with 7:AMP, whom she affectionately calls ‘Q.’
In Billie’s new documentary, the pop star admitted that she “just wasn’t happy” in her relationship with Brandon that ended by the end of the documentary.
“I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair for him. I don’t think you should be in a relationship super excited about things that the other person couldn’t care less about,” Billie said while reflecting on their romance.
She continued, “I don’t think that’s fair to you. I don’t think that’s fair to him. There was just a lack of effort. I was literally like, ‘Dude, you don’t have enough love to love yourself so you can’t love me, dude. And you don’t… [Billie laughed] …You think you do.’”
The pop star admitted she still love him, ‘I’m not over him, I didn’t find someone else. I didn’t stop having love for him,’ she explained.
‘I just spent time away from him for a little bit and I was like, ‘Wow I’m missing so much because I’m worried about you all the time and I don’t want what you want and you don’t want what I want.’ I don’t want to fix him. I can’t fix him. I tried.’
