Adele will not pay spousal support to ex-husband, Simon Konecki

Adele finalized a divorce case with her ex-husband few days ago after judge made final decision, which gave both joint custodies for their son.

According to TMZ, Adele and Simon Konecki are going to have joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old son, Angelo, and the judgment says neither party will be paying spousal support.

The majority of the divorce settlement is confidential, so it’s unclear if Adele made any other kind of payment to her ex-hubby, Simon Konecki. The judgment also says other details about child support are laid out in a separate judgment that’s not publicly filed.

Last week, The Blast reported that “Someone Like you” singer and her former spouse, 46, are now officially divorced after a judge signed off on the settlement on Thursday.

Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki call it quit back in 2019, after 7 years in relationship together, the two kept it private as they didn’t spill a tea reasons behind their ending.

Despite keeping privately about their ending, Adele’s representative released a statement about their break-up.

“Adele and her partner have separated,” the singer’s representative Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh said in a statement to the Associated Press.

“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

The 30-year-old singer (born Adele Adkins) and entrepreneur-philanthropist Konecki, 44, have long kept the details of their romance under wraps.

The “Hello” singer first addressed their relationship in a blog post in January 2012, the same month they were spotted on an airboat ride in the Everglades. In June 2012, Adele revealed she and Konecki were expecting a baby, and the pair welcomed their son Angelo on Oct. 19, 2012.
