Aaron Ramsey joins Juventus on four-year deal
Aaron Ramsey has already signed four-year deal with Juventus, he will make £325,000 per week before tax after as his Gunners contract running out at the end of the season.
Ramsey, 28, has signed a pre-contract with Juventus worth £200,000-a-week AFTER TAX which makes him one of British top earners but is dwarfed by his Wales team mate Gareth Bale at Real Madrid.
Bale earns a staggering £650,000-a-week or £350,000-a-week after tax at the Bernabeu. Italian media reported last month that Ramsey agreed the contract with Juventus after completing a medical and will join in the summer.
“As you may have already heard, I have agreed a pre-contract with Juventus Football Club,” Ramsey wrote in an Instagram post.
“I wanted to issue a personal statement for all the Arsenal fans wh have been extremely loyal and supportive.
“You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there for me through all the highs and lows I’ve encountered during my time at the club.
“It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years in North London. Thank you.
“I will continue to give the team 100% and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin.”
Ramsey will become the third Welshman to play for Juve, following in the footsteps of Ian Rush – who spent just one season in Italy – and John Charles, who spent five years with the club in the 1950s and 60s.
Arsenal confirmed the transfer in a club statement.
Juve release the statement upon his transfer: “Juventus Football Club announces that Aaron Ramey will officially be a Juventus player from 1 July 2019.
“The Welshman will make the move from Arsenal in the summer, having signed a four-year contract with the Italian champions, tying him to the club until 2023.”
