Ugandan artists and music supporters share mix reactions on Diamond Platnumz being paid 750UGX, higher than local artists.

According one musician in Uganda, Diamond was offered 750UGX approximately $220K, while he got below $1000, blaming their organizer of the event for abandon local artists.

Diamond Platnumz was in Uganda to promote coffee, his due fee causes stir on social media as some complain about it while others are down with it.

Some supporters praise the organizers with point that Diamond is big artist, so Uganda will get international attraction for featuring him on advert.

Other including local artists have disapprove the event, saying that his paid due was enough to achieve something great in one among of their district, and other complaining for huge pay gap.

This is a second time for artists in Africa to complain about Diamond Platnumz’s huge payment gap, Shatta Wale in Ghana also did it before when the East African’s fines got an invitation to perform on popular Ghanaian billionaire.
