Glory of Christ Church, led by Gwajima has been shut down and unregistered by Tanzanian government for an alleged mixing politics with faith.
According to letter from respectively authority, Gwajima church is unregistered for mixing with politics with an intent to inciting bad terms between government and its citizens.
Gwajima is a bishop of Glory of Christ church, and member of parliament representing Kawe, he has been MP since 2020.
Gwajima caught himself under government surveillance after address to the public about current security woes in Tanzania, and required measures to mitigate it.
His thought caught the attention of current government in TZ, as the president used his surname to produce a new terminology with an intent to either insult him or use him as example to those who show doubts about her administration.
Bishop Gwajima threw a clap-back back to president, saying the terminology is the glory to him because it implies the confidence of transparent and truth that is even sometime bitter to those in power.
He the use session in his previous session in church to hit back, with confidence he warns those who are trying to silence him.
His move looks like infuriate government, so, they decide to shutdown with cryptic letter without signature to test the atmosphere, now it is implemented.
