Tanzania government has clarified her decision about restricting X formerly Twitter, saying the platform allow adult content which is against moral values of the country.

Minister Jerry Silaa has defended the government for restricting, as he said the platform failed to meet moral values of the people of United Republic of Tanzania.

The X platform has been restricted in TZ since government’s accounts got hacked by unanimous hackers who filed with false information and adult video.

Kenyan hackers were ones who took the blame from government officials after their nasty and savage tweets against the president of Tanzania.

X is still remained down in the country, but many Tanzanians are still continuing accessing it and engage on daily matters through VPN.

According to Tanzania cyber laws, VPN is prohibited and you could face fine or sentence if the authority found that you are defying the law.

Since Elon Musk has acquired the platform, he allows everything including adult content, which is against laws of many countries around the world.
