Marcus Rashford has thanked Manchester United and Aston Villa for making his loan deal following weeks of speculations.
“I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen,” said Rashford.
He continued… “I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision, I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and managers’ ambitions.”
Rashford was left out of United’s 21-man squad for Thursday’s Europa League win at FCSB despite the forward training with his team-mates on the eve of the match.
Manchester Utd boss Ruben Amorim suggested last weekend after the 1-0 win at Fulham he would currently rather have United’s 63-year-old goalkeeping coach in his squad than Rashford.
There have been reports this week that Amorim and Rashford were no longer on speaking terms.
Current manager is in process of purging the team following struggling to retain their position in previous and current competitions since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
