Eric Omondi has asked for Kenyans to help legendary songwriter and singer Marya, who is currently suffer a stroke.

According to details, Marya is suffering a stroke which cause part of her body paralyzed, she doesn’t walk or doing any physical activities.

The popular comedian has shared current situation of the iconic, asking Kenyans to help her, he wants other to join him to rescue her financially.

“Hey guys… This is Marya, our Beautiful Sister, who has entertained us for decades… She suffered a stroke and is unable to walk or perform any Physical duties,” Eric Omondi said.

He added, “All her shows have been canceled, she is the mother of two Beautiful kids…She needs us…Her bills have piled…Please send whatever you can to her number 0719210779(NAME: MARY MAINA) GOD BLESS YOU.”

In an emotional update shared by fellow artist and close friend Avril on Instagram, she provided details on Marya’s condition and how fans can support her recovery. Avril posted a message from Marya’s family, which read:

“A heartfelt thank you for the love, support and prayers you have extended towards Marya over the past week. As you know, she suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot that limited oxygen flow to the brain. She has since been discharged and is continuing her recovery at home. Physiotherapy is ongoing twice a day, and although the left side of her body remains unresponsive, we remain hopeful and encouraged by her strength.”

Her family expressed their deep gratitude for the overwhelming support received and urged the public to continue showing solidarity.

“With that said, Marya and her family still need us. Please continue to support and reach out to her personally where possible. Every call, message, prayer or visit goes a long way,” Avril added.
