Eddy Kenzo have defended his legacy after critic roasted him following his disappointment view over Diamond Platnumz’s VIP treatment at Coffee Marathon event.

Eddy Kenzo joined other artists who complained to the organizers of the event, after they received smaller amount compared to Diamond Platnumz.

Diamond received 750M UGX, while Kenzo received just 20% percentage of it, as organizers of the event treat the Tanzanian musician special than the local artists.

Diamond’s huge prizes made Ugandan musicians furious, as they keen equal pays and special treatment from their country.

In response to critics who offended him for blaming the organizers of the event, Eddy Kenzo said he has BET Award, which is a clap back and threw a jab to Tanzanian artist who lack it.

“I have BET award and a Grammy nomination, and I’ve shut down stadiums in over 40 countries,” he wrote on X platform.

Diamond Platnumz was in Uganda to promote coffee, his due fee causes stir on social media as some complain about it while others are down with it.

Some supporters praise the organizers with point that Diamond is big artist, so Uganda will get international attraction for featuring him on advert.

Other including local artists have disapprove the event, saying that his paid due was enough to achieve something great in one among of their district, and other complaining for huge pay gap.

This is a second time for artists in Africa to complain about Diamond Platnumz’s huge payment gap, Shatta Wale in Ghana also did it before when the East African’s fines got an invitation to perform on popular Ghanaian billionaire.
