Christiano Ronaldo has criticized previous Ballon d’or awards for not considering those who won UEFA Champions Legue, saying the award lost its credibility.

Ronaldo’s comment could be a direct shot to either current Ballon d’or contenders or previous award which was given to Manchester City midfielder.

Ballon d’or to Rodri caused mix reactions among football supporters, as some believe Vinjr deserved due to landing Champions League status.

Ronaldo’s comment didn’t sit well among footballers and supporters, as they put him on blast and selfish because he got it back in 2013 while he didn’t earn the Champions League.

Apart from his thought about Ballon d’or, Christiano Ronaldo has expressed his admiration to former player Lionel Messi.

In his recent interview, CR7 also talking about Lamine Yamal, he applauds the young talent and suggesting that people should not put a lot of pressure of him, because he has talent and it grows up as he is growing.
