The CBF confirmed the signing through an official statement, describing Ancelotti as the most successful coach in the world, now leading the most historically successful national team.

Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, announced the appointment on Monday, emphasizing Ancelotti’s mission to guide Brazil through the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay next month, and to remain as coach until the 2026 World Cup.

In a statement filled with excitement and expectation, Rodrigues remarked, “Bringing Carlo Ancelotti to lead Brazil is more than a strategic decision.
