Ariel Wayz motivates other females to join MTN Iwacu Muzika

Rwandan musician Ariel Wayz has encouraged other female musicians to join MTN Iwacu Muzika festival.

The musician is only female artist to perform at MTN Iwacu Muzika Festival but said she hopes to see more female artists joining future editions for a stronger representation.

“It’s an honor to be here as the only girl representing. Although I appreciate this, it would have been wonderful if there were more of us, so it’s not just me,” Ariel Wayz said during a press conference at Intare Conference Arena.

Ariel also took a time to promote her album “Hear to Stay”, saying it dives deep into themes of love, her journey as a female artist, and the milestones she’s achieved since venturing into the music industry.

“Regarding my album Hear To Stay, this is a fantastic chance to keep sharing it with my fans,” Ariel stated. She highlighted that the tracks of the album bring stories of personal growth, challenges faced, and the unwavering commitment to her musical dreams.

“This album tells my story — my growth, the battles I’ve fought, and my dedication to music. I hope my fans listen closely to its tracks because they’ll understand why music is my lifetime passion,” Ariel explained.
